By placing a reservation with KevRyde, you acknowledge and expressly agree to the following policies, terms and conditions and further authorize KevWorks LLC to charge your credit card in full for all charges relating to your reservation, including, but not limited to, charging your credit card in full for the reservation should you be considered a no-show. Service is deemed rendered – whether you enter the vehicle or not – when the cancellation period is reached.
Deposit
A credit card may be required to hold your reservation. If so, your card will be charged the full amount quoted at the time of booking, not on the day of travel. KevWorks LLC accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Gratuity
A customary 20% driver gratuity will be added to all bookings. You may increase the amount at the time of booking or at the completion of your trip. If your driver doesn’t live up to what you should expect from a luxury transporation provider, please call or text KevRyde at 303-246-7986 or e-mail kevryde@kevworks.com so that Kevin can address the issue and, if warranted, refund some or all of the gratuity or, as a gesture of good will, some or all of your entire payment.
Late night/early morning pick-up fee
All bookings which require a pick-up between the hours of 11pm and 6am will incur an additional $30 “late night/early morning pick-up” fee.
Changes & cancellations
We understand that your plans may change and will try and accommodate your change request as best we can. All cancellations received less than 24 hours prior to the confirmed pick-up time may be charged the full rate quoted. The exception to the above is if your flight is cancelled by the airline. If you change your booking to another date within 24 hours, no charges will apply. All changes must be made by calling or texting KevRyde at 303-246-7986.
Airport pick-ups
We use flightview® to track commercial flight arrival times by flight number and FlightAware to track private aviation flights by tail number. We update all flight arrival times when a correct flight number or tail number is provided, but the update is only as reliable as the information we are provided by the airline or passenger(s).
On all reservations for airport pick-ups, you will be considered a no-show after 45 minutes past your flight’s arrival time at the airline gate or 60 minutes for international arrivals requiring customs clearance. If you have not met your driver or contacted KevRyde by phone or text, you will be charged in full for the reservation. To avoid being charged as a no-show, do not leave your location without contacting KevRyde by phone or text at 303-246-7986.
Wait time
We provide up to a 15-minute grace period at pick-up before wait time charges apply at the hourly rate of the vehicle plus 20% gratuity billed in 1/4-hour increments.
Stops
Requests for additional stop(s) on point-to-point transfers or rides to or from an airport will be charged $15.00/stop. Stops should be limited to 10 minutes. Additional time beyond 10 minutes will be charged at $2.00/minute.
Pets
KevRyde is pet friendly. Except for service animals, pets will not be permitted to ride in the cabin unsecured and must be transported in an approved animal carrier/crate. Cleaning fees will apply for any mess caused by your pet (e.g. excessive pet hair, pee or poop)
Alcohol
In Colorado, alcohol consumption is permitted in livery permitted vehicles; however, no alcohol will be allowed in any vehicle when all passengers are under the age of 21 years old, even with parent’s permission. No exceptions. Should any alcohol be found in any vehicle, KevRyde or any of its affiliates reserves the right to terminate the charter immediately and either return all the passengers to the original pick-up point or to call the parents to pick up the minors at a specified safe location. There will be no refunds on any of the unused time.
Termination of any reservation
KevRyde reserves the right to terminate any reservation without refund if either the owner or affiliate driver feels that one or more passengers is putting the driver or vehicle in any danger of injury or damage. Additionally, if any passenger is in possession of any illegal material and or illegal substances, the service will be terminated immediately and charged at the full amount of the reservation. This is without exception. KevRyde reserves the right to return all passengers to the original pick-up point or to drop off all passengers at any safe location due to the above infractions
Uncontrollable acts and/or acts of nature
KevRyde is not responsible for uncontrollable acts of nature and/or circumstances that are beyond our control including but not limited to traffic congestion, road closures, accidents, flight delays, or weather delays.
Vehicle damage/cleaning
The party paying for the reservation is responsible for all damages and or cleaning charges incurred, including but not limited to the following minimum costs of: vomit/sickness ($300/Incident for cleaning fee, burns ($500/incident for replacement or repair), upholstery tears ($500-1,000/incident for replacement or repair) and/or opening a car door into another vehicle or stationary object. Actual amount will be billed per repair fee and time out of service for the vehicle.
Lost or damaged items
KevRyde is not responsible for items that are left in any vehicle, lost, or damaged. KevRyde reserves the right to charge a delivery fee for returning lost items if found.
Weather
KevRyde is not responsible for any delays or the termination during the winter months caused by unsafe road conditions. Additional fees may apply for winter weather conditions resulting in hazardous, unsafe, or difficult driving conditions, especially in and around mountain resorts and mountain areas
Child seats
KevRyde assumes no responsibility for any improper use of a child restraint system used by the client, booker, passenger, or otherwise. No owner or affiliate driver is authorized, allowed, or certified to install any child restraint system other than its initial placement in the vehicle. For proper installation, the child’s responsible party must refer to the manufacturer’s instruction manual.
Colorado Child Safety Notice & Knowing Assumption of the Risk where child restraining system is not used. Colorado law (Sections 42‑4‑236 & 42-4‑237, C.R.S.) requires that children up to 15 years old riding in a motor vehicle be properly secured. Children under 8 years old must be restrained in the appropriate child restraint system; older children must use a seat belt or a child restraint system. However, pursuant to Section 42-4-236(3)(f), C.R.S., child restraint requirements do not apply to a child who is being transported in a motor vehicle operated by, or on behalf of, a common carrier, contract carrier, or a luxury limousine service such as KevRyde. Despite our exemption under law, KevRyde STRONGLY ENCOURAGES AND REQUIRES all passengers to use the appropriate child restraint system where it is available in our vehicles. Whether you use a child seat or booster seat provided by KevRyde or you have your own child seat or booster seat and have it with you when we transport you and/or your child, our policy requires that it be set up and positioned by the adult passenger responsible for the child. If a passenger fails to use the child restraint system, then the passenger, on his/her own behalf, and on behalf of the child, a) agrees that he/she assumes the entire risk arising out of the use, and the child’s use, of KevRyde’s services to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law; and b) fully understands that accepting KevRyde’s services may not only involve the risks of serious injury or death, economic loss, property damage or loss (the “risks”) resulting from his/her own acts, omissions, or negligence, but also the same risks from the acts, omissions, or negligence of others and/or the condition of the vehicle.
